I thoroughly enjoyed both kindle and audible versions of this book reading it through Immersion/Whispersync.  I needed a lighter book after reading several classics and heavy literature. This book had me laughing out loud several times - laughter I desperately needed.

It  is a paranormal cozy in which Shelby Nichols develops telepathy after being shot in the head. She gets a job with Mafioso type "Uncle Joey" advising him on the veracity of certain of his business associates. Realistic portrayal of her children and husband and other characters.

It is generally easy to accept the far fetched situations, typical of cozies, in which she finds herself.
